Server Monetization Policy

AfterHours operates its DayZ servers in compliance with Bohemia Interactive's DayZ Server Monetization Rules (bohemia.net/monetization). This page states plainly what we do and do not sell, so that players and Bohemia can both check it.

What we never sell

We do not sell in-game money, weapons, ammunition, vehicles, loot, starting kits, spawn selection, bases or housing, or any other gameplay-affecting feature. Supporting AfterHours never provides a combat or survival advantage. There is no way to pay us for an outcome inside the game.

Donations

Donations are entirely voluntary gifts towards server upkeep and carry no counter-value. Donating grants no perk, item, badge, listing, or advantage of any kind, and choosing not to donate never restricts access to anything. This is enforced in our software, not merely promised: donations create no entitlement record of any sort.

Supporter memberships

Supporters receive only non-gameplay benefits:

  • Cosmetic Discord roles and site badges
  • Profile cosmetics on our statistics site
  • Optional name recognition on our supporters page — opt-in, never automatic
  • Priority queue / reserved-slot access

Priority queue affects wait time only. Once in the server, a supporter has exactly the same capabilities, loot, and starting position as anyone else.

Merchandise

Merchandise carries AfterHours' own branding only. It is sold as merchandise, not as anything that affects the game.

Refunds

Refunds, returns and your right of withdrawal are set out in our refund policy. A payment reversed through a confirmed chargeback revokes the benefit it paid for; an open, unresolved dispute does not, and nothing here overrides your statutory consumer rights.

If you believe anything we sell breaches Bohemia's monetization rules, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it. You may also report it to Bohemia Interactive directly.
